Walking Trails and Paths
Area residents are encouraged to hit the walking trails and paths located in the Canton Parks and throughout the Canton community. Walking is a gentle, low-impact exercise and is one of your body's most natural forms of exercise. It's safe, simple, doesn't require practice, and the health benefits are endless.

Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail
Construction of a non-motorized trail system along the Lower Rouge River began in Fall of 2007, in an effort to meet the residential demand for more outdoor recreation and as a joint venture between Canton Municipal Services, Canton Leisure Services, Wayne County, and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
