Canton Leisure Services Scholarships


Scholarships are available for families in need. Download and application to see if you qualify.

Canton residents who have lived in the Canton Community for two or more years are eligible to apply for a Canton Leisure Services Scholarship that can be applied towards Leisure Services classes and programs.

Recipients can receive up to $400 per family in a year and are required to provide one hour of Community Service for every $20 awarded.



About Us

The BLOCK (Building Leaders Out of Canton's Kids) is open to all kids, ages 11 to 17. Hours are available during school breaks and special events on the weekends.

The BLOCK is a place where kids can spend quality time in a safe, secure, and supervised environment, a place where kids will want to spend countless hours with their friends.

After School Program

Experience a youth-driven program full of choices unlike any other.

Program includes pick up from school daily.

Payment plan option is available.

Fall Session:
Fee: $225 Resident /
$282 Non-Resident

Winter Session:
Fee: $225 Resident /
$282 Non-Resident

Transportation for Your Teen

We pick-up from the following schools:

  • Achieve Charter Academy
  • Canton Charter Academy
  • Plymouth Christian Academy
  • South Canton Scholars

Canton Express Shuttle

When: Monday - Friday (School Days Only)

Shuttle service to the teen center. Shuttle begins at 4:30pm but pick up times will be scheduled based on availability.

Winter Session:
Fee: $152 Resident / $193 Non-Resident

Teen Night Out
Fridays, 6:30 - 11 p.m.

Teen Night Out (TNO) is a series of Friday night events designed just for teens.

Space is limited. All events meet or take place at the BLOCK and are on a drop-in basis.

Some events do require pre-registration.

Canton's Youth Advisory Council (Y.A.C.) continues to assert itself as an influential group of students who truly make a difference in their community by participating in service projects, special events, local decision making, and more!
