Kids Corner

Summit on the Park Child Care

The Summit on the Park offers drop in childcare six days a week at the Kids Corner. This service provides parents the opportunity to utilize the fitness facilities, take a class, or participate in a leisure activity while their children are supervised by trained staff members.

While you are enjoying some time for yourself at the Summit on the Park your children will have the opportunity to play games, read stories, play with some favorite toys, and enjoy various interactive activities with the staff.

Room Safety

All kids must have an Emergency Medical card on file and each child must be signed in and out by the designated parent/guardians on the card.

If a child has an allergy an allergy ID tag will be placed on the child so staff ensures he/she is not exposed to the triggered allergen.

In addition, the door to Kids Corner remains locked to the outside to prevent random individuals from entering the room; only staff members are permitted to open the door.

To provide a more inclusive and safe environment:

• Maximum of two hour visit.
• Kids' Corner is peanut free. We are asking that guests not bring snacks that contain nuts, peanut oil, or peanut butter.
• Reservations are recommended and preferred as space is limited.
• A maximum of four infants will be admitted and cared for at any one time.
• Parents are required to supply some type of carrier for each infant.
• Child care staff will not change soiled diapers or administer medication. Parents will be notified and required to perform these duties.
• Parents/guardians may not leave the facility while their child is in Kids' Corner.
• Label ALL personal items brought into Kids' Corner.
• Children unable to hold their own bottle must be fed by the parent.
• As a health standard, courtesy to others and for the well being of your own child, sick children (runny nose, fever, etc.) are not allowed in Kids' Corner.

Cleanliness

All toys and surfaces are disinfected daily to reduce the exposure to germs. Children that have signs and symptoms of colds, flu, pink eye, etc will not be permitted entry to help prevent disease transmission.
