Summit Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center is a fun-filled water environment for people of all ages! There is a 5-lane, 25 yard lap pool, zero-depth leisure pool with play features, a lazy river and slide, Spa, Steam room and Sauna room. The variety of pools has something for anyone that likes being in water.

The Aquatic Center is open approximately 100 hours per week for activities such as lap swimming, fitness classes, swimming lessons, and open swim. We offer everything from parent & child aquatic exploration to adult swim & fitness programs.

Meet the Staff and Staff Training

A full time Recreation/Facility Specialist, 8 Aquatic Coordinators, 20 Swim Instructors, 50 Lifeguards, and 8 fitness instructors make up the aquatic safety team. This enthusiastic bunch is part of an award winning team that has been recognized for their skills and technique in providing a safe aquatic environment.

All staff members actively participate in monthly training to help ensure their skills are at the highest level.

New Swim Rules

Effective September 1, 2011

All children under the age of 12 must pass a swim test to be in the water unaccompanied by an adult. If your child cannot pass the swim test, a parent or guardian must be in the water directly supervising their child from no more than 10 feet away. This includes all pools and the river. Swim test requirements: swimming 25 yards and treading water for one minute.

Additional Water Slide Rules:

  • Children must be at least 42" tall to ride the water slide.
  • Children between 42-48" tall must wear a lifejacket or pass the swim test to ride the water slide.

Open Swims

During this time the leisure pool, lazy river, and water slide will be available for guests (based on availability the lazy river and slide may alternate every 30 minutes).
