Power Outages when you are dependent on oxygen
If you are dependent upon oxygen, contact DTE at 800/477-4747.
DTE needs to know those households who need to be prioritized for power to be restored in case of outages.

Telecare
Friendly reassurance is a telephone program provided by Wayne County Senior Citizen Services.
A friendly call Monday through Friday will brighten your day. This free service is for Canton residents, 60 and older.
Blood Pressure Screening - Free
Is available on the 3rd Monday of each month, 1-3 p.m. in the Parkview Room of the Summit. No appointments are necessary.
Low Vision Support Group
Adults with vision challenges, if you are interested in meeting new friends with common interests or are looking for resources to assist you.

Tax Counseling / SRS
Free tax counseling for low to moderate income seniors. Available February - April. Appointments are necessary.
Striders Walking Club
This walking club is for all Senior Canton Residents. All walking is done on the Summit walk track or water walking in the pool during designated times. Fee: $1 (free for Resident and Non-resident Summit members)

Caregiver Info and Support - Memory Loss
