Senior Memorial Day Heritage Park
Wednesday, May 21 1 - 3pm

The annual Senior Memorial Day will be held in the Heritage Park Gazebo. It is our opportunity to honor our program participants who have passed away this past year. Friends and family are invited to attend this special day of remembrance with a small reception following in the Maple Room. Make your reservations by calling the Senior Center if you plan to attend.

Summit Senior Players 10th Anniversary Production
"That's The Spirit," by Tim Kelly, in cooperation with Bakers Plays

National Senior Health and Fitness Day
Wednesday, May 28

This free event (not including lunch) is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the classes and programs available at the Summit:

• 5k Walk and Run,
• Health Screening (by appointment),
• fitness center orientations,
• classes and a special presentation by Detroit Lion great, Lem Barney at 12:30 pm in the PDC.

Register for everything by calling the Senior Desk at 734/394-5485.

Lunch is served at 11:30 and requires a reservation by noon the day before. The luncheon is free for those 60 and better with a suggested donation of $2.25. For those not yet 60, there is a charge of $4.

Congressman Thaddeus McCotter Constituent
June 5, July 3, Aug 7 from 9 - 10a.m.

Your Congressman’s “office” will be visiting the district’s senior centers once a month. Lori O’Brady will offer assistance on any federal matters. She will speak with you, one on one, to privately gather information to take back to the office. RSVP with the Senior Desk at 394-5485.

Low Vision Support Group
Jun 12, Jul 17, and Aug 21 2:30 - 4pm

A monthly support group for adults with vision challenges. If you are interested in meeting new friends with a common interest and are looking for resources to assist you, please call 734/394-5485.

Holeyboard
May 6-Aug 19 10–11:30am

Join us for a drop-in game of Holeyboard-easy to play for all skill levels. 16 Week Session Senior Bounce Volleyball May – Aug 1-3pm Fee: $1, Free for membership.

Drop-In Bounce Volleyball is here at the Summit.

Please pre-register at the Senior Desk and sign a medical waiver prior to your first time playing. For members of the Summit, there is no charge.
