Veterans History Project
World War II Veterans - We need you again!! Veteran volunteers are needed to interview other veterans in order to "preserve our nation's memory for future generations." Interview tapes will be given to the participant and sent to the National Archives in Washington, D.C. If you would like to volunteer to interview or be interviewed, or would be willing to share your stories, letters, diaries, maps, photographs or home movies, please contact the Senior Program.

"For the Birds" - and For Bird Watchers!
FeederWatch is a winter-long survey of birds that visit feeders throughout North America. FeederWatchers periodically count the number of each species they see at their feeders from November through late April. You will count birds that appear at the feeders that have been installed along the walkway outside the Parkview Room. We need people to come for one to two hours weekly to count, people to fill the feeders, and a special someone with basic computer skills to transmit the data on-line each week. If you are interested in participating in this exciting new program, please call the Senior Desk 734/394-5485. This project is receiving support from Backyard Birds of Plymouth.

The Sounds of Canton

Continue to recruit singers and lovers of song to join them. Experience is not necessary, just a commitment to fun and service. Practices are on Friday mornings throughout the year, 9:30-11:30 a.m. For more information, stop by practice in the Arts I Room, or leave a message for Director Bernice Russian to contact you.

Book Discussion Group

This group meets the 4th Wednesday of the month through June from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. The Canton Public Library will provide large print copies of the book for each group member. To join this group, please make a reservation at the Senior Desk by calling 734/394-5485.
