For More Information ... On the large variety of activities Canton Leisure Services has organized specifically for our active adults, please refer to the Current Discover Brochure.Programs offered for community members that are age 18 and older. The classes offered are designed to enhance the life of adults. Such classes may include: Latin Dance, Beginner Drawing or Instant Piano. Adults can meet others in the community with the same interests while they learn something new.

Quilters at Cherry Hill School
Every Wednesday All Year
9a.m.-2p.m.

Cherry Hill School - ages 16 and up
Join a group of fun quilters in Canton! You can piece and quilt by hand or machine - the fun is being together and sharing skills.

The "Quilters at Cherry Hill School" is a casual group that will meet weekly. Arrive and leave at your convenience and come as often as fits into your schedule. Coffee will be provided; you bring a sack lunch.

A couple of times a year the group will make charity quilts and occasionally will have guest speakers or teachers. Non-quilting needle artists are invited to sit and stitch. Diane Cuper is the volunteer organizer and can be reached at 734/340-4807 to answer questions.

Adult Karate
Mondays and Thursdays, 7:30pm-8:30pm
Session III: April 4 - May 15

Isshinryu Karate is a Okinawa style known for natural stances, rapid punches and kicks. It is easily adapted to any age and body type. Children will develop confidence, mental focus and coordination.
Parents may find their child's academics will improve as they become more comfortable with a structured environment. Instructors; James Bates, Timothy Schulte and Wayne Uzinski.

Fun Shui - Make Sense of your Space – NEW!
Session 11 on Thursday April 24, 7-8:30 p.m.

Transform your life with simple fun changes to your spaces. Learn effective quick decorating fixes based on Feng Shui, the Eastern practice of analyzing where
things go to create the most beneficial energy flow.  Learn how your surroundings affect you and how to arrange your space to create a harmonious environment.

Social Ballroom Dance, Mondays, 2-3:30 p.m.
Session II: March 24 - April 28
Session III: May 5 - June 16

Introduction to social ballroom dancing includes: Fox Trot, Waltz, and Intro to Latin. This is an ideal class for the beginning or the returning dancer. All ages are welcome. Couples and individuals are welcome.
