Village Street Jazz Festival
Friday, September 5 - Sunday, September 7

From contemporary to classic sounds, the Village Street Jazz Festival will enable you to indulge in the smooth sounds of a variety of jazz music.

Friday, September 5, 7 p.m. (Free)

Kick off a weekend of Village Street Jazz with a performance by the Doug Cassens Quintet on the Cherry Hill School lawn. Bring your lawn chair.

Saturday, September 6, 7-8 p.m.

Satisfy your jazz needs with a musical feast featuring Chieli Minucci and Special EFX starting at 8 p.m. at the Village Theater. Tickets are $20 for all seats. A pre-concert Jazz duet will welcome visitors outside the doors of the Village Theater.

Sunday, September 7, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The music continues at Canton Leisure Services Farmers Market. Enjoy the instrumental sounds of the Phil Kelly Duet between at the Bartlett-Travis House.

Pheasant Run Golf Course
Family Range Day, September 6, 11a.m.- 2 p.m.

Free Bring your family to Pheasant Run for a day at the range. We will provide complimentary range balls for you and your family. There will be contests, giveaways, refreshments and food free of charge. Our Golf Pro will conduct a short demonstration followed by an introductory clinic for beginners. There will even be a "short" course for the little ones.

Max & Erma's FUNdraiser Sept 9

Enjoy lunch, dinner or a snack at the Canton Max & Erma's Restaurant on Canton Center Road, just south of Ford Rd., and 20 % of the daily sales will be donated to the Canton Senior Adult Program!

Hosted by Canton Leisure Services and the Humane Society of Huron Valley
For your pet:
  • Low Cost Microchip Clinic Onsite $25 per pet (Cats are welcome if brought in carrier to be chipped)
  • Dog Hike @ 11 AM (all dogs must be on a 6 ft leach and in owners control at all times)
  • Representatives from Local Pet Stores, Veterinary Clinics and other pet related businesses

  • Representatives from local health card providers and other health and wellness related businesses

  • Kids Crafts (for a $1 to benefits the Humane Society)

The Humane Society will be onsite that day selling merchandise and accepting donations that will directly benefit the Humane Society of Huron Valley, so bring yourself, your pup and the whole family out for a fun filled day to celebrate your Heart & Bark!

Pay at the door Lesson only: $6, Fox-Trot dance lesson @ 7-8pm
Dance Only: $10 Dance @ 8-11pm
Lesson and Dance: $15

Join Terry Bee for a fun Saturday Night! Music selections are from the Swing era, American, Latin, and Smooth and Rhythm. Singles, couples, beginners, or advanced dancers are all welcome; socialize with others that enjoy dancing! Dress up or casual attire, just make sure you have your dancing shoes. Free refreshments! Your receipt is your ticket for entry and door prizes.

Annual Fall Festival & Carnival

Don't miss out on Canton's Fall Fest Carnival at the Canton Sports Center in Victory Park!

These four days of family fun will include over 35 rides and games, as well as, arts & crafts, music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

The Festival will also feature a movie under the stars on Friday night. If you enjoyed the rides and games at this year's Liberty Fest, then you better not miss this fun-filled family event!
