Community Garden Plot Rental
Wait List Sign up

We received a great response for the community garden plot rentals and at this time, all the spaces have been rented.

If you are still interested in a plot, please sign up for the wait list to help us gauge additional interest. There is no fee to be added to the wait list.

If you rented a plot, expect an email before the May 1 start date with information regarding the garden including organic growing practices.

Three fun-filled days will also feature a carnival, midway games, America's Most Wanted Car Show, Lumberjack shows, a Walk on the Wildside wildlife exhibit, an International Festival, a spectacular fireworks display and much more.

As always, entry into the festival grounds is FREE! Canton's largest community celebration continues its tradition of offering plenty of fabulous fun for all ages, so don't miss this year's festivities!

Kelly Cox, RD from Regency at Canton will lead a no-cost seminar about building and maintaining bone health via vitamins, balanced eating and exercise.

Celebrate National Recreation and Parks Month with a community tradition.

Enjoy our old-fashioned price for a delicious ice cream and toppings bar served up in the kitchen of the historic Cherry Hill School. Then find a shady spot on the lawn for some tuneful melodies from a local band.

Pre-registration is not necessary. Supplies are limited.

Ninth Annual Western Wayne County Senior Olympics
August 12 - 16

Men and women over age 50 are welcome to participate in the Ninth Annual Western Wayne County Senior Olympics - featuring events like softball, golf, baking, and pinochle

Events will take place at various locations throughout 14 Southeast Michigan communities

Registration: $6R/$12NR (includes a t-shirt)

Please register with the Canton Senior Center by Wednesday, July 3.

Tiny Tot Olympics

Heritage Park Amphitheater
Ages 2-6

Join us near the amphitheater for this gold medal event! Children 2-6 can participate in "olympic" events that are just the right size for them.

Each participant will get their very own "gold" medal.

This is a great photo opportunity, so please bring your camera.

No registration required. $3 participant fee paid on-site.

Canton Township receives a great deal of interest from entertainers, please allow a reasonable amount of time to review submitted materials. All information will be kept in our resource files for future consideration.

There is much tradition in the events that Canton Leisure Services hosts. There are so many events that take place every year, becoming an annual outing for many local families.
