Cost per Night Out: $20M/$25R/$30NR (per child)

We're doing Friday night right!

Monthly, kids ages 5 to 12 are welcome to a supervised evening of swimming, games, pizza and beverages, and a movie.

Registration closes the Thursday prior to each date. Please allow ample time to complete the waiver form upon drop off at your first Kids' Night Out.

Annual Fishing Derby
Saturday, May 3
9 am - 1 pm
Heritage Park
Fee: $5 per Canton Resident

Pull out the fishing gear and head on over to Heritage Park, where the ponds will once again be stocked with rainbow trout for this fun annual event. No fishing license is required.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy quality leisure time with family, friends, and neighbors. Don't miss out on one of Canton's popular family traditions.

A limited quantity of works/bait will be available for purchase. Proof of Canton residency will be required.

Annual Mother/Son Dance

6:30 - 8:30 pm
Summit on the Park Grand Ballroom
Fee: $9 R/$10NR

Early Bird Pricing: $8 (Ends April 9)

Celebrate Mother's Day in a special way. Moms, Aunts, Grandmothers and more are welcome for an evening of dancing and memory-making.

Light refreshments and popular balloon-drop finale! Souvenir photos will be available for an additional cost at the dance. Make this a tradition with the special little guy in your life!

Semi-formal, dressy-casual attire recommended. Ages 2 & Under are FREE. Early Bird Pricing Ends April 9.

Entrance to parking off of Denton Rd. (north of Cherry Hill; across from Fire Station #3)

Attention Pet Lovers! Shop local vendors and let your dogs enjoy the off-leash Dog Park.

Must show proof of up-to-date vaccination for rabies and DHLPP, signed by an accredited veterinarian.

Dog Park Membership applications available on-site. Live entertainment from Flying Aces Dog Show.

Canton Club 55+ Easter-Spring Potluck

Bring your best homemade dish to pass and enjoy a fabulous luncheon. Delicious chicken and paper products will be provided.

Canton Club 55+ C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Shower

Summit Maple Room

Bring a wrapped gift that will be given to a child currently being treated at the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital of the University of Michigan.

Enjoy a light luncheon, provided by the Canton Kiwanis Club.

Easter Bunny Breakfast

Enjoy a fresh, kid-friendly breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are available at the Summit from March 10 through April 6. All ages are welcome. Call 734-394-5460 with any questions.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Summit on the Park and Heritage Park

An after-Easter Bunny Breakfast egg hunt in and around the Summit. The cost is $5 per family -- to be paid onsite at one of our event information booths. All ages are welcome. Call 734-394-5460 with any questions.

Teen Night Out
Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

Teen Night Out (TNO) is a series of Friday night events designed just for teens. All events meet or take place at the BLOCK.

($5) Hunt through the park in the dark with a glowing twist. Pizza and pop included. Please bring a flashlight. For details, call 734/398-5570.

There is much tradition in the events that Canton Leisure Services hosts. There are so many events that take place every year, becoming an annual outing for many local families.

Canton Leisure Services hosts over 60 events every year and there is always something for everyone.
