Chinese Moon Fest

Heritage Park Amphitheater
Experience a Chinese cultural festival event for the full moon in picturesque Heritage Park. Traditional & contemporary Chinese entertainment will be featured in the amphitheater, so bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy. Sample world-renowned moon cakes and stroll along the pond with those you love.
Canton's Public Art Walk

Come explore the latest sculpture installation along Ford Road with a refreshing Fall walking tour. The walk will be narrated by docent & artist, Ken Thompson, from the Midwest Sculpture Initiative who will provide interesting insight into the various pieces that are currently on display in Canton's "downtown".

Light refreshments will be served following the tour. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. All walk participants will also receive a free t-shirt courtesy of Midwest Sculpture Initiative.
Cherry Hill Harvest Fest

Enjoy this homey harvest celebration with good-natured competition, kid-happy fun and tradition-making activities present the perfect way to ease the spirit into the delights of the new season.

Chainsaw Art & Fall Food Fest

Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail
Indulge in an afternoon of arts & eats at the Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail while it's dressed in the brilliant colors of autumn!
- Chainsaw artists will show off their skills during live demos.
- Finished pieces will be for sale to the public.
- Visit local restaurant vendors for a delicious taste of Fall!

Show off those great Halloween costumes while you follow our path through the Summit from room to room collecting goodies & surprises! Due to the success of last year's changes, two "path" options will return to offer trick-or-treaters more age-appropriate themed stations to choose from. Parents are responsible for the direct supervision of their children during this special event.
32nd Annual Tree Lighting

Summit on the Park
Kick off the holiday season with the annual Township Tree Lighting Event. The "official" tree will be lit in front of the Summit on the Park at 6:30pm & special festivities will take place both indoors & outside.
Join us for seasonal entertainment & activities, refreshments, and visits with Santa!
No registration necessary. All ages.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Summit Front Desk during normal business hours. Seating is reserved by table location only. This will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Bring the entire family to enjoy a wonderful brunch with Mr. Claus. This year we will again have "kid friendly" foods as well as traditional family favorites. Following the brunch, the kids can share their Christmas wish list with Santa. All children will receive a holiday souvenir, crayons, and a placemat to color.
New Year's Eve Event

Send out 2010 with an afternoon of family fun at the Summit!
Enjoy carnival games in the gym, open-swim, a countdown & balloon drop (no need to try to stay up until Midnight!)
All activities are included in the event fee, but concessions will be available for additional purchase for those who work up an appetite.
